Choose which players Manchester United should keep and sell in summer transfer window

Manchester United are now free to buy or sell players as they choose, with the transfer window finally open for business.

It has been a long time coming, with the rescheduled Premier League season meaning the summer window was pushed back, eventually opening on July 27th and running into October.

And United's interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, among others, has been well documented. But offloading players may be just as crucial as bringing them in, with United not immune from the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Several players like Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling and Alexis Sanchez have already been loaned out before and will be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford this summer. United may also want to find moves for the likes of Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard, who have struggled for the past year and could benefit from a fresh start elsewhere.

So how many of the current United squad should be sold? And how many players does Ole Gunnar Solskjaer need to keep if he is to mount a serious challenge on the Premier League top two in 2020/21?

After a positive league season, finishing third and qualifying for the Champions League, the next campaign will be a vital one in United's development.

Using our widget below, you can have your say on which players United should keep this month and which ones they should sell. Just vote 'keep' or 'sell' on every player's name.

MEN Sport will later publish the results on our website.
