Chloe Sims has revealed that she and Pete Wicks have an "unbreakable bond" after fixing their friendship.
The TOWIE stars had a major fallout that stemmed from the breakdown of their secret two-year romance.
Pete, 32, appeared to have had a final split from friend and love interest Chloe in the Christmas Special of the show in December.
And things were rocky between them - with half of the TOWIE cast unfollowing him on social media - until they finally talked it out.
In an Instagram Q&A, the 38-year-old made the comment about their bond in response to a fan’s question asking: “Do you think you and Pete will become close friends again? Loved your friendship xx”.
Sharing a sweet snap of the two laughing together, Chloe replied: “Me and @p_wicks01 have An unbreakable bond. . we just had to have time out , il always be hes friend x [sic]”
Pete clearly feels the same way as he reposted her story and added a heart emoji.
Another curious fan questioned how things have been between the two following the dramatic reality show final.
The user asked: “How are you and Pete after TOWIE final” to which Chloe said: “We’re at peace with each other”.
In the dramatic instalment, Pete told Chloe: "I can't be in a relationship, I can't give you what you want and I can't give you what you deserve and I know that."
Chloe then walked away from Pete and it seems this really has been all the contact they have had since the tumultuous confrontation.
Pete maintained to the paper that his feelings towards Chloe remain the same but that they needed a "circuit breaker" and admits he does not know if they will be filming together in the new series which starts later this month.
