Chloe Madeley has defended husband James Haskell after he faced criticism for his behaviour in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
Last night James, a former rugby player, faced a viewer backlash on social media, after he was seen snapping at his fellow campmates during the Dingo Dollar challenge.
After watching the show, some viewers branded James a 'bully', with some even demanding for him to be booted out of camp for good.
Now 32-year-old Chloe, who is the daughter of TV legends Richard and Judy, has taken to Instagram in a bid to stand up for her man.
Responding to a question on Instagram, which asked 'James seems to be getting snappy, is this due to a lack of food??', Chloe responded: "The poor guy is in a right old grump.
"His BMR(basic metebolic rate) is around 2500 cals his TDEE(Total daily energy expenditure) is around 4000 cals so to go down to 800 maybe 1200 with stars, is clearly taking its toll on him."
She continued: "I think people should remember this is a TV show orchestrated to get big reactions out of big characters, and maybe take it a tad less seriously."
ITV has said that "opinions and decisions are completely under the control of the campmates themselves".
I'm A Celebrity continues on ITV tonight at 9pm.
