Chloe Ferry 'traumatised' as fan intrudes on her Newcastle home and leaves note

A shaken up Chloe Ferry has begged fans not to intrude on her home after one scaled a huge security gate to leave a note outside her front door.

The Geordie Shore star moved into her luxury £1.1m home on the outskirts of Newcastle, after filming wrapped on the latest series of the MTV show.

And, while the 25-year-old has been treating her 3.7 million social media followers to glimpses of both its impressive interior and exterior, she never imagined that one would climb the front gate to get closer to the property near Gosforth.

Chloe, who shot to TV fame in 2015, revealed on Instagram that a fan had left a note for her under a plant pot, before going onto post a series of pictures and videos outside the house, which they then posted on their own social media account.

Chloe took to her Insta story to say that while she knew the person in question "meant no malice," it was still massively unnerving for her.

A source close to the reality star, told The Sun : “Chloe thought she had moved into her dream home but the incident has put a downer on things.

"This break-in has left her traumatised - people forget that she's only 25 due to all her success.

"It's left her questioning if she wants to remain in the industry."

Addressing the incident, Northumbria Police then said: "We can confirm we received a report of an intruder on a property in Gosforth.

"We have spoken to the occupant of the address to offer them reassurance and advice. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the intruder and whether any criminal offences have taken place."

Chloe moved into the £1.1m home after selling her first house - a new build in the Backworth area, earlier this summer.

After making extensive changes to the property, she put it on the market for £465,000.
