Chloe Ferry traumatised after fan breaks into her £1.1m Newcastle mansion to leave note

Chloe Ferry was left shaken after a fan broke into her new £1.1m Newcastle mansion.

The Geordie Shore star, 25, was forced to call the police after the intruder climbed over her gate earlier this week, leaving the reality TV star terrified.

The besotted fan left Chloe a note under a flower pot outside her front door and proceeded to take photos on the grounds of huge estate before fleeing the area, according to reports.

The popular star, who boasts a whopping 3.7 million fans on Instagram, has been sharing daily updates of her sprawling mansion after she finally splashed out on her ‘dream home’ a number of months ago.

Despite her growing popularity, and the fame and fortune that comes with it, Chloe now wishes that she had never entered the limelight following the terrifying break-in.

A source close to the MTV said told The Sun : “Chloe thought she had moved into her dream home but the incident has put a downer on things.

"This break-in has left her traumatised - people forget that she's only 25 due to all her success.

"It's left her questioning if she wants to remain in the industry."

After being left ‘traumatised’ from the break-in, Chloe has questioned whether or not fame is worth all the negatives that come with it.

The Geordie Shore star insisted: "It is not normal. If I could turn back time for all this. I wouldn't want it because it is not a nice feeling."

Police are now believed to be investigating the incident.

Northumbria Police told The Sun: "We can confirm we received a report of an intruder on a property in Gosforth.

"We have spoken to the occupant of the address to offer them reassurance and advice. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the intruder and whether any criminal offences have taken place."

Chloe forked out a whopping £1.1m on the sprawling Newcastle mansion earlier this year, and the stunning home boasts five double-bedrooms and her very own cinema room.

It comes after Chloe recently told The Mirror that she’s soon ready to pack in her reality TV career in order to settle down into a ‘quieter life’.

The much-loved star was a fresh-faced 19-year-old when she first joined the cast in 2015, but after years of success in the limelight, Chloe admitted that she’s ready for a change.

Chloe revealed: “I think I’m just going to do one more season of Geordie and I think I’m done with that then.

“I think I want to start steering away from TV and I want to start expanding my salons.

“My ultimate goal is to go away to an island and live on a farm and have a quiet life.

“I want to be where nobody knows me.”

The Mirror has reached out to Chloe’s representatives for comment on this story.
