Chloe Ferry pays heartbreaking tribute to 'beautiful dad' who died week before Christmas

Chloe Ferry has paid tribute to her late dad who died just a week before Christmas.

The Geordie Shore star, 26, posted a video on her Instagram account on Christmas Day of her family unwrapping a framed photo of her dad

It comes after Chloe revealed last week that she was mourning the loss of her dad, who had died from cancer and that it "doesn't feel real".

Alongside the video, Chloe captioned it: "RIP to my beautiful dad. You asked one wish at Christmas for all of us to be happy and together and here we all are we miss you everyday and we wish you were here."

Announcing his death last week, Chloe wrote: "I've struggled to write this and still can't accept it what I'm about to say!

"I'm a very open person and normally happy to share all details of my life, however this is a time where I really need to have some privacy.

"I sadly lost my dad after his battle with cancer and it still doesn't feel real.

Chloe added: "I am going to take a break from social media and work commitments.

"As a family we are all dealing with this and trying to come to terms with it...

"I'd really appreciate it if I was given some time to deal with it in my own way!"

Chloe shot to fame when she was just 19 on Geordie Shore and earlier this year, when speaking to The Mirror, Chloe admitted that if she hadn’t got her foot in the door of reality TV, she would have ended up "on the dole".

Opening up about how different her life would be without the success of Geordie Shore, the Newcastle native admitted: “I would probably be on the dole. No joke about it.

“In all seriousness, I did year 11 twice to try and get GCSE’s and I didn’t get any.

“I went to college to do dance and I failed it. So, I’m not sure where I would be without Geordie Shore.”
