Chloe Ferry is said to have 'faked' a holiday to Ibiza to disguise a reunion with ex Sam Gowland for fears that her friends would be 'furious'.
Geordie Shore star Chloe told her many Instagram followers on Monday that she was headed to the White Isle to shoot a campaign for her own swimwear range Ferry Body.
She posted a number of pictures on her account, tagging Ibiza as the location, but eagle eyed fans accused her of not telling the truth and being in Dubai with Sam after noticing similar backdrops in clips on her and ex and former co-star's Insta stories.
Reported millionaire Chloe may have actually been in Ibiza at one point as on Tuesday she posted "Be back never," but fans aren't convinced.
They noticed that Chloe and Sam had uploaded posts from the same pool, with both of their hotel bathrooms looking the same as well, and rumbling Chloe in the comments of one of her photos, one follower wrote: "How’s the Anantara recognise that swim up room," to which another responded: "she's not in ibiza...why is she saying that? she just could had said nothing, then she have had her private life."
A source told The Sun, that the reason Chloe had been so secretive about going to see Sam was that she knew her friends wouldn't be too happy about them reuniting, telling the paper: "Chloe's taking it really slowly and she's keen to keep it quiet as her friends will all be furious after all the drama. It's a chance for them to reconnect."
Chloe and Sam first got together on Geordie Shore over two years ago but after a number of clashes on-screen, social media spats and their relationship being hit by cheating rumours on both sides, Chloe announced they were finally calling it quits.
As well as being on screen in the new series of Geordie Shore, the 24-year-old is currently starring in the new series of Celebs Go Dating.
The show started off with Chloe and other celebs like TOWIE's Pete Wicks and Love Island's Shaughna Phillips, dating virtually but over the past weeks she has been spotted filming socially distanced dates in London.
Since leaving Geordie Shore last year, Sam triumphed over Chloe's other ex, Marty McKenna in a Fame MMA bout in Newcastle and now owns multiple businesses.
