Chloe Ferry looked happy to confirm she's not engaged to Wayne Lineker, after her Celebs Go Dating co-star roped her into a bizarre prank.
Earlier this week Wayne, 58, sent shockwaves through his 653,000 Instagram followers as he uploaded a snap of him and Chloe, 25, showing off a huge diamond ring with the caption 'She said yes.'
Despite the pair's obvious closeness on the E4 dating show, Chloe joked about her single status as she headed out this week.
The Geordie lass gleefully flashed her ring-less hand at the paps as she was spotted running errands.
Chloe was photographed at her shop in Newcastle helping her mum with orders and taking out the post.
The star managed to look glamorous in her leggings and form-fitting white roll-neck jumper as she lifted a number of boxes.
Her sighting comes days after pal Wayne Lineker involved her in a spot of Instagram tomfoolery where the nightclub owner pretending they were to be married.
A friend of Wayne said he pulled the stunt to see if anyone would believe he'd popped the question to his co-star, who is 33 years his junor.
"Wayne is a real joker and this is exactly his kind of humour," they told The Sun.
Gary Lineker's younger brother apparently sent his close friends a text confirming it was a joke and he and Chloe are not engaged.
Wayne had posted a cosy pic of him and Chloe with the caption: "She said YES! Love you @chloegshore1."
To which the blonde beauty replied: "Love you" before also sharing the post to her own page.
The pair met after appearing on Celebs Go Dating.
Wayne signed up after returning back to the UK after his Ibiza club was forced to close its doors in the coronavirus pandemic.
While unlucky-in-love Chloe said she was hoping to find The One after breaking up with Sam Gowland.
