Chloe Bryson has been named gymnast of the year at Stewartry Gymnastics Club.
It was a challenging 2020 for the athletes in the club and sister group Gymtastic, with the coronavirus lockdown seeing head coach Megan Bennington keeping the children going with Zoom classes so they could practice at home.
She also gave individual training plans and started classes up when the restrictions eased, putting on an end of year competition as the Christmas show was cancelled.
When training resumed at the gym, she returned with a positive outlook and is focused, calm and quietly confident.
