Chis Long is looking to put his money where his mouth is ahead of Duke-Virginia

The NFL season might be over for the Philadelphia Eagles, but that doesn’t mean the trash talking has stopped for defensive end Chris Long.

The Walter Payton Man of the Year has been one of the biggest class acts in the NFL over the past few years, from Waterboys, which looks to bring clean water to Africa, to donating his entire salary for educational equality. But, when it comes to his alma mater Virginia taking on Duke, the gloves are off.

No. 2 Duke takes on No. 3 Virginia today in a college basketball showdown that many are eager to see, and Long is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

Take a look.

I’m sure there are plenty of Blue Devils fans willing to take that action, but given that the game today is being played at Virginia, they may want to hold off. When these two teams met last month at Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke narrowly escaped with a 72-70 victory.

You can be sure today’s game will be just as competitive.
