CCTV footage shows the moment a driver accidentally reversed her cat at speed into the front of a beauty salon in China.
Captured in the Jiangsu Province last week, the video shows the driver slowly driving along a road in front of several shops. The woman behind the wheel then turns her car to the left and begins to reverse backwards into a parking spot.
However, for some reason, her initially tentative driving gives way to a sudden burst in speed that produces some catastrophic results - mainly for the beauty salon nearby.
There is no audio recording of the crash but the footage suggests it was startlingly loud with people running outside to see what the commotion was all about.
Fortunately, the shop was closed at the time and the driver escaped without injury.
