China cuts growth target for 2017

China's Premier Li Keqiang has warned of a further slowdown in economic growth this year.

Addressing the annual National People's Congress, he said the growth target this year would drop to 6,5 percent, compared with last year’s goal of between 6.5 and 7 percent.
