The UK Foreign Office has warned against "all but essential" travel to the coronavirus-hit region of China.
“In light of the latest medical information, including reports of some person-to-person transmission, and the Chinese authorities' own advice, we are now advising against all but essential travel to Wuhan,” a spokesman said.
Meanwhile people travelling from Wuhan will be separated from other passengers when arriving in the UK as part of new measures in response to the outbreak.
Seventeen people have died so far from the illness, with hundreds of cases reported worldwide as far afield as the US, Mexico and Japan.
