China closes Tibet to visitors on 60th anniversary of uprising

It has been 60 years since Tibetans rose up against Chinese rule.

Tibetans world over are expected to commemorate the day through demonstrations and protests on Sunday.

But not in Tibet.

China has put restrictions on tourists and journalists who want to visit the region, critics say it is another sign that China is repressing the rights of Tibetans.
