People were stopped in their tracks by the eerie sound of a wartime siren going off in the city centre this morning.
A short video was taken of the wailing sound heard by Mathew Street, close to the Hard Days Night hotel, in a city centre still largely deserted because of lockdown restrictions.
One witness said: "I was sitting in the car and heard it.
"I thought I was hearing things - just weird."
