A shocking photo shows the moment a family staged a picture involving two young children - on the edge of unstable cliff.
In it a young girl, who appears to be no older than eight-years-old, has her legs dangling over the cliff edge, while an even younger looking boy faces the camera phone.
It appears that they have been positioned in that precarious spot by a man in a hoodie and jeans who is holding a camera.
A dog can also be seen right next to the drop in the alarming photos which were taken by a concerned onlooker at West Bay, Dorset.
They ignored warning signs erected by the coastguard and local council urging the public not to stand too close to the cliff edge.
There was a major 800 tonne rockfall a bit further along the Jurassic Coast at Burton Bradstock in August.
They were noticed by Mazz Blehs, 57, a landlady from Bournemouth who was on a day out with her husband.
She said: "My husband spotted them first with his binoculars and said 'look at that'. I couldn't believe it.
“The man positioned the young girl and boy on the cliff edge for the photo.
She even had her feet dangling over the edge.
“I think the girl must have been seven or eight years old but the boy looked about three. It was so dangerous I felt ill looking at it.
“There have been rockfalls lately and I feared the worst.”
In 2012 tourist Charlotte Blackman, 22, was crushed to death when a huge landslip occurred as he walked under the cliffs further along the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site at Burton Bradstock.
