A murder suspect poses as a doting mum next to the baby she claimed was hers after allegedly ripping him from the womb of a dead teen.
Clarisa Figueroa stands over the critically-ill newborn in the disturbing photo as he lies in intensive care surrounded by tubes in a Chicago hospital.
The baby had been rushed to hospital on April 23 by Figueroa who was covered in blood after claiming she had just given birth and her son was unresponsive - but it was all lies.
In the photograph, Figueroa, dressed in a hospital gown, places a hand on his tiny leg and appears tearful knowing the tot is fighting for his life.
It is not clear when the photo, obtained by CBS, was taken.
However, it would later emerge that the desperately sick baby had been cut out of his dead mother who was lured to her death with the promise of free baby clothes and strangled.
Figueroa, 46, and her daughter, Desiree, 24, have since been charged with one count each of first-degree murder.
The boy - named by his father as Yadiel - is the second child of 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez, whose body was found in a rubbish bin near Figueroa's home, three weeks after she went missing.

Marlen, whose due date was May 9, had gone to a house in Chicago to pick up some free baby clothes on the day she was allegedly murdered.
She was last seen leaving a school to collect her son from daycare however when she didn't arrive, the daycare called her husband and Marlen was reported missing the following day.
It is claimed Figueroa was lying in wait and killed the teen, before cutting the baby from her womb and pretending it was her child when she arrived at hospital.
Figueroa did not show any signs that she had recently gone into labour and no one at the hospital alerted the authorities.
A spokesman for the Advocate Christ Medical Center, where the baby was brought, declined to comment on the case.
Figueroa has been charged along with her daughter Desiree - who is four months pregnant - and her boyfriend, 40-year-old Piotr Bobak.
The three defendants are due in court on June 3.
prosecutors said that Figueroa had asked her daughter for "help killing a pregnant woman and taking a baby".
Despite having her fallopian tubes tied, Figueroa had told friends she was pregnant with a baby called Xander and shared photographs on her Facebook page of a newly-decorated nursery.
She had also posted pictures online of a baby scan.
Marlen had been to Figueroa's home once before on April 1 when she picked up baby clothes advertised on a Facebook group for women in need.
During that visit, Figueroa told her daughter that she wanted to kill Marlen and steal her baby, Desiree told police.
The only reason Marlen escaped with her life that day was that Desiree's boyfriend, who was also there, refused to help them, it is claimed.
According to the lawyers, Figueroa then passed off the request as an April Fool's joke.
But when Marlen returned for the second time, the boyfriend was not there.
It is alleged Desiree turned up the music and showed the teenager a photo album dedicated to Figueroa's son Xander, who died aged 20 from natural causes last year.
Distracted by the photos, Marlen didn't notice Figueroa creeping up behind her with an electrical cable which was then wrapped around her neck, a court heard.
Once she was dead, Desiree - who had peeled Marlen's fingers from the cable while she was being strangled - brought her mother a butcher's knife, blanket and bucket.
Figueroa then allegedly cut the dead girl's belly open "from side to side" and pulled the baby out, placing him into the bucket.
She then called 999 and claimed to have had a baby.
Following a tip-off from someone who had spoken to Marlen on Facebook, authorities arrived at the family's home on May 7.
They found Marlen's car and carried out DNA tests on the baby who was still in neonatal intensive care.
Once in custody, Desiree is said to have made a full confession.
It is unclear if Bobak or Figueroa have confessed.
