Children's dungarees sold at Dunnes Stores outlets across Ireland recalled over safety fears

A children's clothing item sold across Ireland has been recalled over safety fears.

Dunnes Stores has carried out a recall on it's two-piece Monster Dungarees.

The retailer said there's an issue with the security of metal studs on the clothing.

Nearly 1,250 items of the dungarees in Ireland are affected by the recall.

A statement said: "Dunnes Stores Unlimited Company is carrying out a voluntary recall of children’s 2-piece Monster Dungarees.

"The style number of the clothing item is 6474440 and the product is for age range 0 – 12 months.

"The safety issue identified, is that there is an issue with the security of the metal studs on the garment.

"The recall affects 1,241 items in the Republic of Ireland."

Dunnes Stores will offer a full refund to customers who return the product to one of its stores.
