Children reveal the 10 items they'd take to SPACE - with hilarious results

When asked what they want to be when they grow up, many children will answer with ‘an astronaut.’

But based on the answers of a recent space project, some of these children might need to reconsider their career options.

Children in Primary 1 at Airth Primary School were challenged to list the 10 items they would take to space, with some rather hilarious answers.

One child included an iPad, lunchbox and hairdryer on her list, although her mum also made the cut.

One in six Brits believe the moon landings were STAGED, survey reveals

Another hilariously listed his toy unicorn, a teddy and a globe - despite probably having a pretty good view of Earth from space!

Meanwhile, one child made sure he wouldn’t go hungry during his trip into space, including food and ‘jooz’ (juice) on his list.

The school tweeted the adorable lists, and even received a response from astronaut Tim Peake.

He said: “Brilliant answers P1! We could definitely do with more pirate toys, teddies & unicorns on the #ISS.”
