Children among injured in fatal shooting at home in southern Spain

  • At least two people were killed and four seriously injured in a shooting in El Ejido, southern Spain, on Monday night.
  • The incident occurred at about 11.15pm at a house in the El Canalillo neighbourhood of Andalucía.
  • Two of the injured individuals are reported to be under 18 years old.
  • The man suspected of carrying out the shooting was related to the two deceased victims.
  • The suspect has been arrested after initially fleeing the scene and later handing himself in to local police, with an investigation currently underway.
