Children across West Lothian get the reading bug during Scottish Book Week

Pupils from across West Lothian got the reading bug during this year’s Book Week Scotland.

The event ran from November 15 to 21 and is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across the country and is supported by Creative Scotland and SLIC.

There was plenty of events to encourage youngsters to get lost in a book and schools sent in some of their favourite pictures for readers to enjoy.
