Child soldiers rife in Sudan's multiple conflicts

For decades, children as young as 13 have been recruited to fight in conflicts in many parts of Sudan.

Many of them bear the psychological and physical scars of these wars and struggle to return to civilian life.

But now the new transitional government says it is implementing age and identity checks that will hopefully put an end to their recruitment.
