When it comes to children's safety in cars an ambulance worker has revealed that there's one thing all parents should be sure to do.
Aside from making sure your little one has their seat belt firmly done up, you should stick a little note to the back of your child's car seat.
This note will contain some very important information, that could end up saving your child's life in the event of a horrible road accident.

It's a simple task and will only take a few moments to complete, but the difference it could make in the event of an emergency is huge.
In a post on Facebook, the paramedic wrote: "Way too often we come upon a car wreck with child(ren) in the car who are too young to have any info and parents are unconcious."
He goes on to explain that having their personal information on hand could make all the difference, reports Practical Parenting.
According to the medical expert, parents should fix a note to the back of the child's car seat, containing everything a paramedic may need to know, such as their full name, date of birth, parents' names, emergency contact phone numbers and any pre-existing medical conditions.
This information will ensure the medical staff can give your child the best possible care, writes the Mirror .

You might also want to include any allergies on the note and perhaps the information for your child's GP.
"It takes two minutes," added the paramedic. "But it could save a child's life."
Parents on Facebook shared the tip far and wide and added their own words of wisdom into the mix.
One mum advised fellow parents to take down 'baby on board' stickers from the rear window once the child has grown up.
This is because, in the case of an accident, firefighters and paramedics may become preoccupied searching for a baby that isn't even there.
