A young child has been injured and rushed to hospital after thugs launched a targeted attack on a Scots home.
Two men, who are understood to have weapons, stormed the home at Church Place, Fauldhouse, West Lothian and began threatening the residents around 6.20pm on Thursday night.
The kid was injured in the rammy while two men and a woman suffered minor injuries at the hands of the crooks.
It is understood the two men knew the people inside the house.
Cops have said they are following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called to an address in Church Place, Fauldhouse, at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, 27 April, after two men arrived at the property threatening the occupants.
“Two people, a 30-year-old man and 29-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in a disturbance. A child was also injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following positive lines of enquiry.”
