A girl was taken hospital after a car crash in Horfield this afternoon.
Officers and paramedics got to the smash on Montreal Avenue at around 4pm today (Tuesday).
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said a child was injured during the crash but was unable to confirm the severity of the accident.
He said: "We were called at 4.17pm to a collision between a car and child.
"The child has now been taken to hospital."
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We was called just after 4pm about a collision on Montreal Avenue, Horfield.
"Our crews treated a female patient at the scene and transported her to hospital by land ambulance for further care."
A witness told Bristol Live: "Police, ambulances etc on Montreal Avenue, Horfield - don’t know what’s happened."
