Child rushed to hospital after being struck by car at Scots roundabout

A child has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car at a Scots roundabout.

Emergency services were called to the collision at the Bargillo Roundabout in Dundee at 4.10pm today.

The youngster, whose age is unknown, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a person being hit by a vehicle at the Bargillo Roundabout, Dundee at at 4.10pm on Friday, July 29.

"Emergency services attended and one person was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
