Child hospitalised after falling out of car on busy Glasgow road

A child was hospitalised after falling out of a car in Glasgow.

Police raced to Govan Road, in the Govan area of the city, at around 7.15pm on Sunday.

Officers spoke with the driver and the child.

The child was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow as a precaution.

Police have since confirmed that no criminality was established following the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman told the Daily Record: “At around 7.15pm on Sunday, June 21 police received report of a child having fallen out of a car on Govan Road, Glasgow.

"Officers spoke with the driver and the child was taken to Queen Elizabeth university Hospital as a precaution.

"No criminality has been establish at this time.”
