Child hit by a car and knocked off his bike suffers facial injuries

Officers are appealing for information after a boy was hit by a car and knocked off his bike.

The 14-year-old was knocked from his bike onto the pavement in Wigman Road, Bilborough, at around 8.15am on Thursday, May 23.

Police have now just revealed he sustained facial injuries and needed stitches.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "If you saw what happened or have any dash cam or mobile phone footage which could help us, please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 231 of the 28 May 2019."
