Police are investigating reports that a child fell out of a moving car while still in their car seat.
A witness saw the horrific incident happen near a garage in Caernarfon on Tuesday.
North Wales Police said: "A witness has called us to report a child, still in its car seat, fell out of this moving silver car."
They issued an image of a silver car with the back driver side door open.
It happened by the Texaco Garage in the town just before 12.40pm.
A spokesman for the force added: "No reg details given so we are appealing for witnesses. Our enquiries are underway"
