Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill moved up in the franchise leaderboards for receiving touchdowns during the win against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Ahead of the game, Hill was in sixth place in franchise history with 49 receiving touchdowns. However, after his incredible three-touchdown performance in Philadelphia, Hill has passed former Chiefs WR Stephon Paige and moved into a tie for fourth place with a current teammate. Both Hill and Travis Kelce have 51 receiving touchdowns with Chiefs during their careers, good for the fourth-most in franchise history.
“I’m just thankful to be a part of this team,” Hill said of his performance following the game. “I think each and every week, people expect me to be that, but I’m going to always be me for this team. I don’t care if I have 200 yards, I don’t if I have 50 as long as we get the W. That’s me, that’s my mindset each and every day. That’s how my dad taught me to play football — to play for my brothers.”

This game marked Hill’s third career game with three receiving touchdowns. It was his first since the Week 11 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.
Hill and Kelce need five more touchdowns to pass former Chiefs WR Chris Burford for the fifth-most touchdown receptions in franchise history. They’ll keep that in their mind over the next few weeks as they look to correct issues and continue winning.
“There’s always things to correct,” Hill said. “I don’t care if you put up 50 points, there’s always one thing in a play to be corrected. Whether it’s myself, whether it’s (Travis) Kelce, whether it’s Pat (Mahomes) — we’re going to find something to correct.”
Hill knows the team has plenty more work to do before this team can achieve their goals. Expectations are high, not just from the fans, but their own expectations in the Kansas City locker room.
“I feel like this win right here, we’re just going to continue to build off of it,” Hill said. “Like I said, there are always things to correct and that’s what we’re going to do because this team, we all want to be good. People expect us to win each and every week and I feel like we – in our mind – were also there too. Like the guys in the locker room, we expect to win. We just need to do what we did today — come out and just be the aggressor.”
