Chiefs’ Tyrann Mathieu gives praise to pair of Chargers

The much anticipated player ratings for Madden NFL 20 were released on Monday and set social media on fire. The majority of the NFL players were not pleased with their ratings, so they let their opinions be heard.

Chiefs’ safety Tyrann Mathieu decided to go on a rant about other players’ ratings across the league, sending a variety of tweets to express his thoughts on players who he thought deserved much better.

Two of those players just so happened to be on the Chargers. He started off with backing up wide receiver Keenan Allen and his rant that he posted, quote tweeting it and claiming him as an elite route runner.

20 minutes later from his first tweet and Mathieu shifted gears to cornerback Desmond King and his rating (86). Mathieu recognized King and Broncos’ Chris Harris as one of the most premiere corners in the NFL and felt that King, along with Harris deserved to be rated way higher.

Despite being a part of arguably the Chargers’ biggest rival after being acquired this offseason, it’s a nice gesture to see Mathieu show some class act towards Allen and King, who have proven themselves as two of the best at their perspective positions.
