Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has joined up with some MLB and NBA stars to create the “No Hats Alliance” and let the world know that, “Hair is Awesome. Hats are Dumb.”
Kelce denounced wearing hats in a new Old Spice commercial alongside 2019 NL MVP Cody Bellinger, 2018 NL MVP Christian Yelich and Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro. As Kelce explains in the advertisement, the word hat actually stands for “Hair Ain’t There.” The group of star athletes seeks to unleash their hair thanks to Old Spice’s 7 new stylers and they want you to join them.

The new hair styling lineup from Old Spice has 7 unique products, including a pomade, styling gel, putty, fiber wax, paste, molding clay and styling creme. Each product offers a visual silhouette on the packaging to let you know which is best for your type of hair. For instance, Kelce uses pomade to style his hair in the commercial. They’re all designed with the goal of achieving awesome hair just like Kelce’s.
