Chiefs Superfan Added to Most Wanted List While Still on the Run After Alleged Bank Robbery

The bizarre search for notorious Chiefs superfan Xavier Michael Babudar took yet another turn this week as he remains on the run after skipping a March court appearance in connection to an alleged 2022 bank robbery.

The Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers tabbed Babudar, known by Chiefs faithful as the wolf costume-wearing “ChiefsAholic,” as a special person of interest after adding him to its list of most wanted fugitives.

The summary of the offense associated with Babudar’s listing is described by the organization as “failure to appear in court warrant for bank robbery.” The 27-year-old was scheduled for a hearing on March 27, just over three months after he was arrested on Dec. 16 for alleged armed robbery at the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union in Bixby, Okla.

The hearing, which was set to take place in Tulsa County, was arranged after Babudar pleaded not guilty to the charges and was later released from jail after having his $80,000 bond paid for by a bail bondsman.

Shortly after the hearing, Tulsa judge Michelle Keely issued an arrest warrant for Babudar that carried a bond of $1 million. In addition to the missed hearing, Babudar’s disappearance raised red flags after law enforcement reportedly recovered his detached, court-mandated GPS ankle monitor.

As of Friday, there have been no updates on Babudar’s whereabouts.
