Stock Up: Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes adds another comeback victory to his resume as he leads the Chiefs to a thrilling win late in the game. The passing was sharp for the fourth consecutive game racking up large yardage numbers with 329 for three touchdowns and 23 rushing yards. The former league MVP was efficient in all facets of the position on Sunday night, spearheading the road victory and perhaps another MVP campaign.
Stock Up: Travis Kelce
The Los Angeles setting added extra motivation for Kelce as he continues to shine against the Chargers in close games. He thrilled fans with his first touchdown reception imitating football legends Deion Sanders and Ladanian Tomlinson with their signature celebrations. Kelce closed out another victory with the go-ahead touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter for his third of the game to go along with six catches and 115 yards.
Stock Up: Isiah Pacheco
A second consecutive productive week for Pacheco as the starting running back created more balance in Kansas City’s offense. Pacheco recorded the first 100-yard rushing game of his career and the first type of game for any Chiefs running back since Week 4 of the 2021 season. Following the injury to Clyde Edwards-Helaire, it is expected that Pacheco will rely on more as the season progresses.
Stock Up: Nick Bolton
Bolton continues to improve weekly as one of the better linebackers in the league with his standout performances. He led the team in tackles with ten and had the game-clinching interception off of the deflected Justin Herbert pass. Bolton has established himself as a leader on the defense as the unit continues to grow stronger with young players.
Stock Up: Mike Danna
Danna has an interesting connection with the Chargers and Justin Herbert, as he collected two more sacks on Sunday night. Four of his 7.5 career sacks have come against Herbert and several have been game-changing. The defensive line has shown versatility so far this season, and performances like this will keep Danna constantly in the rotation.
Stock Down: Marquez Valdes-Scantling
Valdes-Scantling was the veteran receiver on the depth chart entering Sunday night’s game but didn’t provide much impact. He had one reception for 18 yards but, in the fourth quarter, didn’t catch a pass on three targets. The chiefs relied more on rookie Skyy Moore from the receiver position to compensate for Valdes-Scantling’s lack of production.
