Chiefs RB LeSean McCoy active vs. Ravens

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactive list for their Week 2 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Here are the inactive players for the Chiefs:

– WR Tyreek Hill
– RB Damien Williams
– OL Eric Fisher
– OL Nick Allegretti
– OL Martinas Rankin
– OL Greg Senat
– DL Khalen Saunders

Here is the Ravens inactive list:

– CB Jimmy Smith
– S Brynden Trawick
– QB Trace McSorley
– WR Jaleel Scott
– LB Otaro Alaka
– OL Ben Powers
– DL Daylon Mack

Hill, Williams and Fisher were ruled out on Friday and the Chiefs have prepared to play without them all week. The depth that they have at the receiver position has eased the pain of being without Hill through two games and Cameron Erving played well in place of Fisher last week.

After being questionable throughout the week with an ankle injury, running back LeSean McCoy is active and will start today. It will be interesting to see what kind of workload he gets, especially in the rain. Keep an eye out for backups Darrel Williams and rookie Darwin Thompson.

As for the Ravens, they’ll be without starting cornerback Jimmy Smith for the second straight week with a sprained knee. Baltimore has decent depth there with Marlon Humphrey and former Chiefs CB Brandon Carr. Mark Andrews was questionable throughout the week with a foot injury, but he will play. He leads the Ravens with 16 receptions.
