2020 has been a pretty awful year for just about everyone, but Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes can’t stop winning.
In February, Mahomes led the Chiefs to their first Super Bowl title since 1969 and won MVP honors against the 49ers. In July, Mahomes signed a 10-year contract extension worth half a billion dollars. Earlier this month at the Chiefs’ ring ceremony, Mahomes proposed to his longtime girlfriend Brittany Matthews. And on Monday, Mahomes passed for 385 yards and four touchdowns to beat the Ravens and re-establish the Chiefs as favorites in the AFC.
There’s more good news for the Mahomes family. On Tuesday, Mahomes and Matthews announced they are expecting a child. Matthews said the couple was taking a “small detour to the wedding.”
