Every Vikings fan is asking the same thing as the team gets ready to take on the Chiefs in Week 9.
Is Patrick Mahomes playing?
After missing last week’s game with a dislocated knee, Mahomes has been limited so far this week at practice. We’ll get his official injury designation for Sunday’s game on Friday. Chances are, that designation will be questionable and we won’t know his status until 90 minutes before kickoff.
If Mahomes can’t play, Matt Moore will get the start, who started for the team last week against the Packers.
The thought was that Mahomes would miss more time than just two weeks, but here we are and it looks like he has a real chance to play against the Vikings, which makes game planning for Mike Zimmer that much harder.
