Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce to open 1587 Prime steakhouse in Kansas City

The Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are teaming up again on a tasty new business venture. The Pro Bowlers will open a new upscale steakhouse called 1587 Prime in Kansas City, promoting an immersive and upscale dining experience.

The pair’s jersey numbers inspire the name. The restaurant is set to debut in 2025 inside Loews Hotel with street-level access and will span nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors. Mahomes and Kelce were frequent visitors to Noble 33’s restaurants, led by founders Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha, which sparked the partnership.

“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities,” Mahomes said in a statement. “So it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.”

1587 Prime will boast multiple private dining rooms, a world-class chef’s kitchen and a delicious meat display, including hyper-subtle nods to Mahomes’ and Kelce’s on-field accomplishments.

“We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience,” said Kelce in his statement, “and what better place to start than our very own Kansas City.”

The restaurant’s extensive wine collection, expected to be one of the largest in the state, has been meticulously curated to complement the menu’s diverse offerings.
