The over/under point total for the game is 54.5. They were listed as 6.5-point favorites prior to the Eagles’ loss on “Monday Night Football.”
The Chiefs need to get back into the win column in the worst possible way after their disappointing start to the season. This matchup looks like the one where they should be able to get back on track. The Eagles have one of the most undisciplined teams in football, not only leading the NFL in penalties through Week 3, but also setting an NFL record for the most penalties through three games.
While Kansas City doesn’t have much to fear from Philadelphia, they have plenty to fear from themselves. The attitude from the Chiefs after their Week 3 loss to the Chargers was that they beat themselves with turnovers. This game should be a win for Kansas City, but you could say the same thing about the last two games too. Until they get out of their own way and stop beating themselves, it’s going to be hard to have any sort of confidence in this group.
