Chiefs officially sign entire 2021 draft class

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that they’ve signed their entire rookie draft class, a group that includes Missouri LB Nick Bolton, Oklahoma C Creed Humphrey, Florida State EDGE Joshua Kaindoh, Duke TE Noah Gray, Clemson WR Cornell Powell and Tennessee G Trey Smith.

A report came in earlier that Bolton and Smith had already signed, but with the rookies arriving in Kansas City for minicamp, it was only a matter of time before the players officially signed their contracts with the team. On Thursday, they all finally had a chance to put pen to paper. Hopefully, soon we’ll get to see the traditional contract-signing photos

Each of the rookies agreed to a standard four-year contract, locking them to the Chiefs through the 2024 NFL season. Without a first-round draft pick, none of the players received a contract with a fifth-year option.

Below are the projected contracts based on draft slots courtesy of Spotrac:

Nick Bolton $5,834,031 $1,602,932 $1,060,733
Creed Humphrey $5,586,206 $1,407,422 $1,011,856
Joshua Kaindoh $3,979,345 $499,345 $784,836
Noah Gray $3,793,776 $313,776 $738,444
Cornell Powell $3,720,150 $240,150 $720,037
Trey Smith $3,610,708 $130,708 $692,677
