The Chiefs will be facing the Denver Broncos in prime time. Once again.
On Monday, the NFL announced that it has flexed the Chiefs' road test against the Broncos on Nov. 27 from a 3:25 p.m. start to a 7:30 p.m. start and will now be shown on NBC. The game is swapping places with the contest between the New England Patriots and New York Jets, which will now be shown on CBS.
This marks the fourth straight year the Chiefs will face the Broncos at least once in prime time. The Chiefs are 0-3 in those contests, and Denver _ which has a bye this week _ will have two weeks to prepare for the game.
The Chiefs are currently tied with Oakland for the AFC West lead, as they each sit with a 7-2 record. Both have a half-game lead on Denver, which is 7-3.
The Nov. 27 game will mark the first of three prime-time contests the Chiefs will play over the last six weeks of the season. They also are host to Oakland at 7:25 p.m. on Dec. 8 for "Thursday Night Football," and will play host to Denver at 7:30 p.m. on Christmas night.
