Chiefs LT Eric Fisher questionable to return with groin injury

Kansas City Chiefs LT Eric Fisher tried to gut through a groin injury, but it appears the injury is too much for him.

Fisher went through pregame warmups and appeared to be good to go for the game. He started the game but only made it through a few snaps in the first series before heading to the blue injury tent on the sideline. He’s apparently reaggravated his groin injury.

The Chiefs have officially ruled him questionable to return to the game with that groin injury. Reserve offensive lineman Cameron Erving has come into the game in his place and the drop off between the two players is quite noticeable through two series.

The Chiefs will likely have to change the gameplan in order to keep Patrick Mahomes protected and keep the ground game moving efficiently. That means more protection and help on the left side and running the ball to the right side behind Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Mitchell Schwartz. Look for the Chiefs to try and utilize the screen game as well.
