Chiefs have second-most Pro Bowl votes among all NFL teams

The Kansas City Chiefs remain one of the top vote-getting teams in the NFL in the league’s latest Pro Bowl voting update. They have the second-most votes in the NFL behind only the Pittsburgh Steelers, who currently lead all NFL teams in votes.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has extended his lead as the No. 1 vote-getter with 261,309 votes, nearly 10,000 more votes than the next-closest player in Seahawks QB Russel Wilson.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce also remains in the top five in voting. He is currently fourth in the overall vote with 234,802 votes. Chiefs DT Chris Jones has the most votes among any AFC defensive tackle with nearly 123,000 votes.

Surprisingly absent from the top vote-getters are Chiefs DB Tyrann Mathieu, who currently has the third-most interceptions in the NFL with five. Also absent is WR Tyreek Hill, who has the third-most receiving yards in the NFL this season and is tied for the NFL lead in total touchdowns.

Fans have just seven more days to get their votes in either online via NFL.com/ProBowlVote or on Twitter using the hashtag: #ProBowlVote and the first and last name of the player, the player’s official Twitter handle, or a hashtag including the player’s first and last name. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes for the Pro Bowl on Friday, December 18.
