Chiefs’ Frank Clark may regret saying there’s ‘no difficulty’ in tackling Derrick Henry

Titans superstar Derrick Henry has established himself as the most dominant running back in the NFL over the second half of the season, and he enters the AFC Championship having averaged a ridiculous 159.1 rushing yards per game on the ground over his last eight games, leading the Titans to a 7-1 record over that span.

At 6-foot-3 and a listed weight of 247 pounds, Henry looks unstoppable when he lines up on the field – but according to Chiefs Pro Bowl defensive end Frank Clark, there’s nothing especially difficult about stopping the NFL’s rushing leader.

Clark gave the Titans some bulletin-board material ahead of Sunday’s game with his assessment of Henry.

Clark may have missed what happened to Earl Thomas earlier this postseason. After Thomas said that other teams “didn’t seem interested” in tackling Henry, the Ravens safety was spun around by a casual Henry stiff arm during Baltimore’s upset loss.

Earl Thomas: “Those guys didn’t seem too interested in tackling [Henry]. I think our mindset is a little different.”
