Chiefs fans disgustingly booed during moment of unity before NFL season opener

The NFL is back, with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans in a season opener unlike any we’ve seen before.

The Chiefs were allowed to have about 16,000 fans in attendance for tonight’s game, which has been weird to see after all these months of watching sporting events with no fans in the stands.

But there was a terrible moment before kickoff, as the fans at Arrowhead could be heard booing during a moment of unity in which the two teams locked arms in the middle of the field.

Apparently many fans in the crowd don’t enjoy seeing people coming together to raise awareness for critical issues and just to support, you know, unity.

Because this was disgusting:

Awful.
