Chiefs’ Eric Bieniemy praises successful Election Day at Arrowhead Stadium

The entire country continues to await the official results of the 2020 presidential election. The Kansas City Chiefs organization proudly opened up Arrowhead Stadium this past Tuesday as a polling place for many Missouri citizens. The endeavor to use Arrowhead has been praised locally and throughout the league.

Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy spoke highly of the event’s execution, thanking a number of members of the organization for making it happen during Friday’s press conference.

”I just want to give special praises and a shoutout to Clark Hunt, Mark Donovan, Pat Mahomes and all the other guys who helped make this happen. What a special day on Tuesday,” said Bieniemy ”A special day, a remarkable day in history. For those guys to work it out and allow people to come in and have a great voting experience here at Arrowhead Stadium, that’s something that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”

Bieniemy continued to speak about his personal experience voting this year. He also emphasized everyone continued to work and remain focused on Sunday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

“You know what, it was a day of voting. You also have to understand, it was a day of work. We have an opponent to prepare for.” said Bieniemy ”Me and my family took care of our voting a couple of weeks ago. I was just excited about what was taking place, not only here, but also what was taking place around the country. As far as the other stuff, we were locked in. We’ve got a great challenge this week and a hell of an opponent lined up to play. I wanted to make sure my focus was purely on the Carolina Panthers.”

The Chiefs want to keep rolling with their winning streak on Sunday as they head into the bye week. Bieniemy’s offense is clicking on all cylinders, reminiscent of last season’s Super Bowl run. Despite an important week outside of football, his emphasis on preparation and teaching remains unparalleled.
