Chiefs convert second-and-34 into first down, then field goal

The Kansas City Chiefs took 24 yards backward in two plays in the second quarter on Monday against the New Orleans Saints. Three plays later, they had a first down after Kareem Hunt converted a fourth-and-2 with a running play.

Eventually, Harrison Butker kicked a field goal and KC led 13-7.

A botched gadget play cost Kansas City 14 yards on first down. Then,
