Chiefs are favorites over Titans ahead of Sunday matchup

The Tennessee Titans (4-5) will seek to even out their record once more as they face the Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) travel to Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

But the team isn’t expected to do that by sports bettors, as Oddsshark.com has the Titans listed as underdogs to the Chiefs by a point spread of (-6), with the final score projection being 26-20, Kansas City.

The Titans have looked better but still not entirely up to par on offense with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback, and the defense has been stout but has still given up some major plays in recent games.

The Titans dropped their most recent contest, 30-20 on the road against the Carolina Panthers.

The Chiefs could have quarterback Patrick Mahomes back as early as Sunday, and have the momentum, winning their last game 26-23 over the Minnesota Vikings last week.

Matt Moore has played efficiently in Mahomes’ place in the meantime, completing 25-of-35 passes for 275 yards and touchdown on Sunday’s victory.

The team also currently sits atop the AFC West, ahead of the Oakland Raiders (5-4).

It will be interesting to see how things shake out, with the two teams set to kick off at noon CT on Sunday in Nissan Stadium.
