The Kansas City Chiefs’ 2019 preseason opponents have been revealed.
Here is Kansas City’s full preseason schedule with exact dates and times to be announced at a later date:
Preseason Game 1 (August 8th-12th):
Chiefs vs. Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium
Preseason Game 2 (August 15th-19th):
Chiefs vs. Steelers at Heinz Field
Preseason Game 3(August 22nd-25th):
Chiefs vs. 49ers at Arrowhead Stadium
Preseason Game 4 (August 29th-30th):
Chiefs vs. Packers at Lambeau Field
In their opening and closing weeks the Chiefs will face teams that both have new head coaches in the Bengals and Packers. That should be interesting to see how those coaches fair against the Chiefs.
Obviously the best game for the Chiefs will be the game coming in Preseason Week 3. That is the game when the starters play the most snaps and it’s against the 49ers at Arrowhead Stadium. Keep in mind the Chiefs traded Dee Ford to the 49ers this offseason. He’ll be chasing after Patrick Mahomes trying to get a sack on his former quarterback.
It doesn’t appear that any of the Chiefs’ preseason games will be televised nationally.
