Chiefs 2019 NFL draft hats incorporate Kansas City’s official seal

The 2019 NFL draft is just over three weeks away.

New Era revealed the official Kansas City Chiefs draft cap for the 2019 NFL draft on Tuesday. These are the hats worn by NFL draft prospects on stage if they’re in attendance at the NFL draft in Nashville, Tennessee. Once a prospect is selected, they’re escorted on stage with the commissioner and get to wear the hat for a nice photo opportunity.

Last year, the draft cap design put Chiefs Kingdom across the front of the Chiefs draft hats. The 2015 NFL draft featured skylines of each city on the brim of the hat. There have been quite a few unique designs over the years, and this year is no different.

This year each design draws heavy influence from the state flag and seal that accompanies the respective team. For the Chiefs that is Kansas City, Missouri. Check it out:

Kansas City, Missouri’s state flag features a design based on the ‘City of Fountains’ moniker. The hats appear to have incorporated that design behind the Chiefs Arrowhead logo for the hat. Each hat also features the ‘NFL100’ logo on the back of the hat, which celebrates the 100th season of the league.

Fans can purchase this unique look from the Chiefs’ online pro shop or your favorite online sportswear retailer.
